The Cypriot City Paradigm; urbanity issues in design and planning - NEW PUBLICATION

Ctrl_Space Lab Nikolas Patsavos is the co-editor, together with planner Ioannis A. Pissourios, of the new seminal publication by DOMES architectural publications and the Cyprus Architects Association on The Cypriot City Paradigm: urbanity issues in design and planning

Its a fully documented volume with contributions from the most prominent and epidrastic academics, practitioners and independent researchers from Cyprus and Greece. The publication comes with an unprecedented series of plans,diagrammes and original photographs by Thodoris Nikolaou, Charis Solomou and Petros Phokaides.Its design was worked out by Grid Office and Yorgos Rimenides.


The publication is bilingual, in greek and english. It has been presented to the public in two special events at the Bank of Cyprus Cultural Center in Nicosia and the Benaki Museum Pireos Avenue premises in Athens. The Benaki event also included a public discussion on the second publication of the historical volume by Yiannis Aesopos and Giorgos Simaioforides on The Contemporary (Greek) City.
